About Us
My name is Kia Brooks, pre-licensed mental health therapist that works in the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) theories through a holistic lens of well- being.
As a retired educator, certified trauma and resilience counselor and wellness coach, I am dedicated to the education and healing of self and community.
I serve individuals and families challenged by self-awareness, anxiety, trauma, depression, family relational problems and life transitions.
I believe healing/therapy is a form of self-care which has a ripple effect. If we begin to heal ourselves, we then heal our families, and then our communities.
