These Membership Terms of Use are between you ("Member" or "you") and Black Women NJ LLC ("Black Women New Jersey," "BWNJ," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the membership services provided by Black Women New Jersey through its website www.blackwomennj.com ("Website"). By registering for and using our Membership Services, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.

MEMBERSHIP SERVICES

The Membership Services provided by Black Women New Jersey include community participation in forums, groups, and events related to the Black Women New Jersey entity.
 

DISCLAIMERS

 

Black Women New Jersey expressly disclaims responsibility for the actions, conduct, or interactions of any Members. We do not warrant, represent, or guarantee the conduct of Members. Members are solely responsible for their actions and interactions.

REGISTRATION

​

• Members may be required to register to use the Membership Services. During registration, Members will choose a unique identifier and password.

• Members are responsible for maintaining the accuracy, security, and confidentiality of their registration information.

• Providing false or inaccurate information, or engaging in fraudulent activity, will result in immediate termination of this Agreement.

• You are not permitted to register multiple Accounts on the Website.

USE

​

• Members agree not to use the Membership Services for any unlawful or prohibited purposes. Specifically, Members agree:

• Not to harass, abuse, threaten, or violate the rights of others.

• Not to infringe upon the intellectual property rights of Black Women New Jersey or any third party.

• Not to distribute viruses or malicious software.

• Not to engage in fraud or unlawful gambling.

• Not to publish or distribute obscene, defamatory, or hate-inciting material.

• Not to unlawfully gather information about others.

FEES

​

• Members agree to pay membership fees ("Fees") as required by Black Women New Jersey.

• Specific Fees applicable to the Membership Services will be communicated at the time of execution.

• Fees are payable through our online payment system.

RELEASE

​

By using our Membership Services, Members release Black Women New Jersey and its affiliates from any claims or damages arising from disputes with other Members.

 

LIMITED LICENSE

​

Black Women New Jersey owns all intellectual property rights related to the Membership Services. Members are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Membership Services for personal, non-commercial use only.

RESTRICTIONS

Members are prohibited from selling, reselling, or commercially exploiting the Membership Services without an express agreement with Black Women New Jersey.

MEMBER CONSENTS

​

• Members verify that all information provided to Black Women New Jersey is accurate and up to date.

• Members agree to notify Black Women New Jersey of any changes to their personal information.

​

INDEMNIFICATION

​

Member agrees to defend and indemnify Black Women NJ and any of its affiliates (if applicable) and hold them harmless against any and all legal claims and demands, including reasonable attorney's fees, which may arise from or relate to Member's use or misuse of the activities, Member's breach of this Agreement, or Member's conduct or actions. Member agrees that Black Women NJ shall be able to select its own legal counsel and may participate in its own defense, if so desired.

REPRESENTATION

 

Member agrees that they are over 18 (eighteen) years of age and may legally consent to and enter into this Agreement.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS OF USE

We may change these terms at any time by amending this page. Please check this page regularly to take notice of any such changes as you will be deemed to accept them through your continued use of the Website and the App.
