Black Women New Jersey is committed to giving back to our New Jersey communities by organizing charitable events and initiatives with the help of our members and donations.
OUR LATEST INITIATIVE
City of Orange Fire Department Refresh
Dates: June 27th, 28th, and 29th
To express our gratitude to the dedicated individuals who keep us safe, we organized an initiative to clean and paint the City of Orange Fire Department's sleeping quarters and create privacy divisions for female firefighters in shared spaces. This project started with member donations, which we delivered on April 27th, 2024.
BWNJ is leading this effort in partnership with She Contractors, who will provide the necessary paint and contracting services.
