About Us

Hello, I’m Juwana “JuJu” Montgomery, a proud mother of three college-aged sons, a dedicated birth worker, and the Founder/Executive Director of Tree of Life Center for Care, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in New Jersey. My journey into maternal and paternal health comes from both lived experience and professional passion. As I pursue my goal of becoming a midwife, I continue to serve young parents—especially Black and Brown teens and young adults—through culturally rooted doula care, childbirth education, and mental health support, including our unique Dad Doula initiative. What sets me apart is my commitment to equity, creativity as a designer and seamstress, and a deep love for helping families thrive. My ideal clientele includes youth, young families, and communities historically excluded from traditional care systems. I’m excited to collaborate with other Black women across New Jersey to build power, share knowledge, and create healing spaces that reflect our values, brilliance, and collective strength.
