It’s time to take off the cape.
Join Black Women New Jersey for our Annual Beach Day, a day dedicated to rest, connection, sisterhood, and self-care.
This is your opportunity to unplug, recharge, laugh, connect, and simply be. No pressure. No obligations. Just peace, waves, sunshine, and sisterhood.
Because even the women who hold everything together deserve a day to rest.
This event is designed to create space for Black women to relax, build relationships, and enjoy a beautiful day by the shore together.
Details
☀️ Free to attend. Beach admission is approximately $13 and paid directly to Long Branch upon entry.
☀️ We will gather near Pavilion Ave Beach beginning at 9:00 AM.
☀️ Arriving early is encouraged so we can secure space together.
☀️ Want to be included in our BWNJ group photo? Be sure to order your BWNJ shirt in advance.
☀️ Street parking is limited. Additional paid parking lots are available nearby.
☀️ Umbrellas are welcome. Please check current beach regulations regarding tents and large setups.
☀️ Feel free to come for an hour or stay all day.
What to Bring
☀️ Beach chair, towel, or blanket
☀️ Umbrella for shade
☀️ Sunscreen and personal beach essentials
☀️ Food, snacks, and drinks for yourself or to share
☀️ Water to stay hydrated
☀️ Books, journals, cards, games, or anything that helps you relax
☀️ Your BWNJ shirt if you have one
☀️ A friend who could use a day of sisterhood and connection

☀️ This is a day to rest, recharge, connect, and build community.
☀️ Bring positive energy, an open heart, and a willingness to meet new people.
☀️ Some women may come alone, so let’s make sure everyone feels welcomed and included.
